Striving for Safe Working Environments

Safety is Paramount

To create the safest possible working environment and meet customer’s expectations we are commited to:
Exceeding the high standards set for the scaffolding industry by the Construction Industry Training Board (CITB) and the Scaffolding Association.

Site supervisors and managers who are responsible for inspecting and checking scaffolds for safe use and completing reports in accordance with the Working at Height Regulations 2005 are qualified by SSSTS, the Site Supervisor Safety Training Scheme and SITS, the Scaffold Inspection Training Scheme.

Our scaffolders are registered with the CISRS, (Construction Industry Scaffolders Record Scheme) and are regularly assessed both in-house and independently to ensure the highest standards are maintained at all times.

Independent assessments by health and safety consultants Hamilton Deed to ensure we are up to date with the latest best practice and law and that we are implementing them.

We have independent accreditations by Constructionline (Gold Member), CHAS, the Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme,
SMAS, Worksafe Contractor and SAFE Contractor, all of which are recognised by
SSIP
(Safety Schemes in Procurement).

A testament to Formark’s pro-active approach to health and safety within our operations.
